I was running my old dump pouch at a training event a couple of weeks ago and realized that it just didn’t work. I was running the pouch at 6 o’clock (because I run two rifle mags along with two pistol mags), and between the floppy opening and the fact that I couldn’t see it to drop my partially used magazines, I ended up using my cargo pocket instead.
I decided to give the Agilite dump pouch with the pincer mag pouch a chance, and it has been a game-changer. The quick-deploy functionality, rigid opening, paired with the integration of the mag pouch, makes this absolutely amazing. I wish I could have had this when I deployed to Iraq. The army-issue drop-leg dump pouch was less than useless, and I ended up not using it.
I can’t recommend this enough if you run a battle belt with rifle mag pouches. Oh and the pincer mag pouches are great also!

This dump pouch is the best one for those who want the the mag release possibility. Today there are a lot of mag release dump pouch. The 2 big differences are the size when the pouch is « closed » and the material they use to make it. The Agilite one is very small and good looking when it’s closed (also when opened) and the material are better. A lot of dump pouch use too much laser cut material and the problem is that the resistance is not so good all around the cutting part… Agilite made a good job!
Great idea! I ended up building a whole battle belt just for the DUMP POUCH to incorporate it.
