Industrial Designer

Position Description

Agilite is looking for an additional creative Industrial Designer to join its world-class R&D team. The candidate will design (primarily textile) products, including tactical gear, apparel, and accessories, both independently and as part of a team.


Essential Functions

  • Design products that solve complex issues and provide added value for the wearer.
  • Create patterns, mock-ups, and prototypes to take products from initial concept through prototyping, testing, refinement, and final design.
  • Work closely with other designers to bring new and better toolbox solutions that benefit the brand (new technologies, construction techniques, materials, features, etc.).
  • Be hands-on with products and prototypes to physically test and understand them before sending for external testing.
  • Meet tough deadlines and price points.
  • Participate in practical field testing of equipment within IDF or other Special Forces units.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
  • Combat military experience – preferred.
  • High level of sewing machine competency – advantage.
  • Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Opti Tex or other pattern-making software – advantage.
  • Experience with additional 3D design software (Fusion 360, Inventor, Rhino, or others) – advantage.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a hard-working team and meet tough deadlines and price points.
  • Must live and breathe innovative design, new design technologies, trends, and creativity.
  • A “go-getter” with unstoppable drive who wants to get in on the ground floor of one of the country’s fastest-growing brands.
  • Conversational or professional-level Hebrew – preferred.
  • Conversational English – compulsory.
  • Hard-working team player, not afraid of professional challenges, and ambitious.
  • Familiarity with/passion for the tactical gear, firearms, or outdoor industry and culture – advantage.
  • Ability to wear and train in military equipment, including body armor – preferred.
