Controller

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our growing Finance team and play a key role in driving Agilite’s strategic growth. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s financial operations and success. The Controller will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements, and the development and enforcement of internal controls. The role includes close cooperation with local and international teams, external advisors, and auditors, as well as responsibility for timely financial closings, reporting, and analysis.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee and maintain accounting systems and entries across entities.
  • Prepare and analyze Budget vs. Actual reports and develop financial reporting packages.
  • Support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, cash flow, and banking.
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and external finance teams to ensure consistent processes and compliance.
  • Lead the external audit process and preparation of Financial Statements.
  • Monitor subsidiary bank accounts and prepare operating cash flow reports.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls across accounting and finance activities.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely handling of Sales Tax, VAT, and Corporate Tax matters.
  • Act as a business partner to other departments influencing financial results.
  • Support ad hoc accounting, tax, and finance-related projects, including process improvement and automation initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • CPA, preferably Big 4 alumni.
  • 3–4 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (experience with inventory accounting a plus).
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and cultures.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Experience implementing new systems or automating accounting processes – a strong advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced multinational company environment.
