I use it for my daily hikes. Carries all of my gear to include hydration and rain gear.
Perfect go to bag for 48h patrols with handy external space and fits nice on the K5
As a patrol commander with over 9 years within a specialist infantry platoon i am always on the hunt for the very best kit to help me achieve what needs to be done with minimum fuss and the best comfort possible.....
I have found the perfect pack for those situations ...even though the amap ii is advertised as a 14l pack i have still managed to fit more into this than other 20l packs that i have used ..this is due to the way this pack is designed it is flatter yet a little wider than most packs in this size category with space for modular pouches and a beavertail function wich even fits my large helmet for my massive skull . The padded strap option means even when carrying hydration packs ,radios etc it still feels like a pillow on your back .The craftsmanship is second to none and the layout of the ports /pouches that are on this minimalistic pack are perfectly placed for what i need .. ..
To summarize if you are looking for a small yet mighty pack for up to 24 hours with smartly placed realestate for kit then this is it ..tried and tested and proven to make you 7.62 x more of an operator ....FACT
I love this pack!! It's the perfect size and I really like the external beavertail which I use for my helmet and a jacket sometimes. I got the padded strap option and they are very comfortable. The whole bag has excellent build quality and stitching-10/10 I'd buy from them again and I'll be getting the K5 plate carrier I think so I can direct attach.
